Unit 01 — Active measures

ADAS, DMS and GPS: driver monitoring in real time.

Most road incidents in operation do not start with the vehicle: they start with the driver. And they almost never start suddenly. Fatigue gives warning signs before the microsleep — the eyelid dropping, the head nodding, the gaze drifting — and that is where our system steps in: early warning for fatigue and drowsiness, at the first sign, not once the vehicle has already crossed the line.

Our focus

The early warning is the one that prevents the accident.

Every event a unit detects on the road reaches the platform the moment it happens. There it is cross-checked against the rest of the fleet: which vehicle, which driver, which shift and which stretch of road keeps producing fatigue signals.

Before the microsleep

The system does not wait for a yawn or a full head-nod. It detects sustained eyelid closure and the gradual loss of attention, and warns while the driver can still correct.

Warning inside the cab

The alert is audible and visual, in the vehicle, at that instant. It is not saved for next month's report: the person who has to react is the one behind the wheel.

And it is on record

Every event goes to the platform with video and position. It supports driver coaching and flags in time the shift, the route or the person accumulating fatigue signals.

The equipment comes from source

We bring in the Streamax line directly, with no middlemen or local representatives in between: factory pricing, real stock availability and technical support answered by whoever supplies the equipment. Streamax is a global manufacturer of AI vision solutions for commercial vehicles, present in more than one hundred countries.

The two units we install

AD Plus 2.0: the same intelligence, two ways to mount it.

This is the best-selling AI dashcam of the line. One version is installed permanently on the company fleet; the other mounts and comes off in seconds, for the vehicle entering the mine for a few days.

AD Plus 2.0

Dual ultra-wide road and cabin lenses, recording up to 1920P outside and 1080P in the cab. It detects risky behaviour on board and warns the driver at that moment; the event, with video and position, goes up to the platform for fleet follow-up.

  • Expandable to 4 channels: adds one AHD and one IP camera
  • Built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G and inertial navigation module
  • Up to 2 × 1 TB microSD cards, recording main and sub-stream simultaneously
  • AES256 encryption with TLS 1.3 secure transmission
  • Echo-cancelling intercom between platform and cab
Streamax AD Plus 2.0 Mining Edition
AI dashcam · Mining edition

AD Plus 2.0 Mining Edition

Designed for the temporary vehicle entering the site. It attaches to the windscreen with a suction mount and runs off the OBD port: fitted and removed in under ten seconds, with no work on the electrical system and no workshop permits.

  • External camera 1920P and cabin camera 1080P, both at 20 fps
  • Detects seatbelt violation, phone use, fatigue, smoking and over-speed
  • On-site voice alert and automatic reporting to the platform
  • ADAS headway and forward collision warning
  • Solves the contractor case that still has to meet the site safety standard
What can be added

Cameras and accessories that extend the system.

The AD Plus takes two additional channels. Depending on the vehicle and the risk profile of the operation, it is completed with sensors dedicated to driver state and blind spots.

Streamax C29N mining DMS camera
DMS camera · Mining

C29N

Driver state monitoring with a vision model prepared for hard hats, masks and reflective lenses, where a standard DMS fails. It works with no network, with in-cab audio and seat-vibration alerts that cut through mine noise.

C24 side camera with IP69K protection
External camera · IP69K / IP67

C24

For side monitoring. Mounted outside the vehicle, it withstands pressure washing and dust. The lens adjusts for different vehicle types.

R-Watch in-cab alert monitor
In-cab alerts

R-Watch

Repeats the alert visually within the driver's field of view, the moment the system detects a risky manoeuvre.

CA46 Mining Edition 360° blind spot camera
360° vision · On request

CA46 Mining Edition

360° blind spot camera with IP69K protection and anti-vibration design, for underground mining. Paired with the M10 unit it enables automatic pedestrian proximity alerts.

What the system detects

Two families of events, one alert in the cab.

DMS — the state of the driver

  • Fatigue and drowsinessThe focus of the system. Sustained eyelid closure, head nodding and loss of attention, with a warning before the microsleep.
  • DistractionGaze off the road for a sustained period.
  • Phone useHandling the phone at the wheel.
  • SmokingRelevant in operations with fire restrictions.
  • Seatbelt not fastenedA breach of the most basic safety standard.

ADAS — what happens on the road

  • Headway warningFollowing the vehicle ahead too closely.
  • Forward collision warningEarly alert when there is a risk of impact.
  • Lane departureUnintended drift out of the running lane.
  • Pedestrian detectionPeople in the vehicle's path.
  • Over-speed and crash eventWith automatic video retention.

The event list is configurable for each operation. The unit detects and warns on board on up to 68 risk events.

The service around the equipment

None of this works if nobody is watching.

TCV live monitoring platform
Own server in San Juan

Live monitoring platform

Exact positioning and location, distance covered, alarms and early warnings, fleet control and weekly reports. Live recording with audio and operator–driver intercom, and two months of video evidence retention. The watching is done by our team in the province, in the same operating window as your fleet.

Starlink Mini satellite antenna with power supply and cable
Satellite connectivity

Starlink Mini

Keeps monitoring running without interruption at sites and remote roads where there is no mobile coverage. It extends the reach of the system from the highway to the pit, and lets the fatigue alert reach the control room as it happens rather than when the vehicle regains signal.

Automatic driver identification

Recording how someone drives is not enough if you do not know who is driving.

The system recognises the driver at the wheel and checks them against the roster of authorised drivers. If someone not cleared takes the vehicle, an alert is raised.

What it changes in the operation

The practical difference.

  • It is corrected before the incident. The alert fires at the first sign of fatigue, not after the near miss.
  • Objective evidence.Video with audio and position for an accident, a third-party claim or a safety audit.
  • Real fleet management.Routes, distance, speeds and alarms consolidated into weekly reports.
  • Mining compliance.Traceability of driving behaviour for the safety standards required on site.
  • Monitoring from San Juan. The follow-up is done by our team in the province, in the same time zone and the same operating window as your fleet: the question is answered the same day, not the next shift.

Coming next Streamax mining line

And separately, what is coming for mining.

Bucket tooth loss detection, oversized rock warning, retaining wall distance while dumping, blind spot detection calibrated for mining equipment and vehicle-to-vehicle awareness up to two hundred metres. It is a different line from the on-road one, and we are adding it to the portfolio.

Clients on the monitoring line

Thirty-three companies already run our equipment.

Next steps

One visit to the road and one soil sample.

With that we define the product, the dose and the expected performance, and put together a proposal with a cost per kilometre. For the monitoring line we arrange a live demo of the platform on one of your vehicles.
